Château de Pressac 2000 (12.5%) Saint Émilion Grand Cru * Gold Medal winner - France 2000 * It was in the Château de Pressac that the treaty was signed after the Battle of Castillon which ended the Hundred Years War. Sadly, but deservedly, recognition of this superb estate is spreading and bringing with it, pressure on price and availability. Fortunately, being a long standing customer, we continue to enjoy a good allocation; prices are now however, more realistic. This wine is produced from the oldest vines and is rich, powerful and complex. Impressive now, it will repay keeping. 73% Merlot 25% Cabernet Franc 2% Noir de Pressac (Malbec)
