| ZD Vineyards This world famous vineyard was established in 1969 by two former aerospace engineers who sought to create wines with Zero Defects. The Chardonnay has three times won the Decanter Award at the International Wine and Spirits Competition and the wines have regularly graced the tables at the White House in Washington over three administrations. ZD wines have all the typical Californian big fruit flavours, plus great charm and elegance, thanks to a judicious use of oak something of a rarity in this part of the world! We have found one 'Defect' in ZD wines though! Thanks to the almost cult following they enjoy in the States, the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Merlot are in very short supply, so regrettably, it's first come first served.
